tree knittingor yarn bombing or guerrilla knitting - call it what you like but it has proved very popular for all ages and the children love getting involved in 2020 we commemorate the 75th anniversary of VE Day and we would love to add to all the existing works with lots of RED, WHITE and BLUE designs
so we hope to decorate railings, trees, houses, walls and wherever possible in and around Town End with knitted bunting, tree cosies, sculptures, little patches of colour on a stick or whatever your imagination can invent if you would like to get involved then please Contact Us
even if you only have a little bit of time could you make some red poppies?
you can drop them off at the museum or library KNIT AND NATTER groups, craft groups, schools, individuals - anyone who can knit is welcome to contribute
