Kirklees Raynet is the Kirklees branch of the Radio Amateurs Emergency Networkwe will have radio operators at all venues, and on each minibus, with links to a central control facility so that transport can be deployed where it is most needed and transport can be called up almost 'on demand'.
in the unlikely event of an emergency we also have an operator with the St John's ambulance team and a link to West Yorks Ambulance service. |
the volunteer operators, all licensed UK amateurs, come from as far away as Sheffield
