re-design of the rec

​Golcar Lily Environment group, Huddersfield University (Urban Design Department), St Johns Church and GJIN Schools have been working collaboratively to re-design the Rec (Golcar Park). 

​Students from the University have organised and facilitated workshops  with school children and Golcar Lily Environment Group (GLEG). This was to draw out ideas for the park and co-design a proposal with the community.

​The material and ideas generated by these workshops will help in applying for funding and some quick wins to implement  and improve the facilities and use of this space.
