​Things to Do
Drop By Centre – Sycamore Avenue – refreshments available all day
Colne Valley Museum – children’s crafts, Golcar Lily loaves, Art Society exhibition, traditional craft demonstrations, tea room. Open from 10am – 5pm
Thorpe Green Bowling Club – Have a go at bowling. Indoor and outdoor games. Bar open from 11am
Library - Information point, lost and found, Golcar Ginnel Trail leaflets. Entertainers.
Scout and Community Centre – Lots of ‘have-a-go’ crafts. First Aid. Winkle Club Beer and Gin Bar. Activities planned by young people to raise money for WWF (indoors) and Explorer Switzerland trip (carnival games - outdoors). Storytelling.
Golcar Junior School, Manor Road - Various children’s groups throughout the day
Manor Road School Field – Inflatable wipe out balls & bouncing dome. Re-enactment groups camping and conducting demonstrations in the arena on the school fields throughout the day.
Town End/Jubilee Square – Stalls include a wide selection of vintage items, sweets & treats, handmade crafts and artisan gifts. Not to mention the tombola and the pig racing!
Liberal Club – BBQ 1pm – 6pm. Solo Artist from 5pm – Jamie Hulley
Conservative Club – Open all day – all welcome to pop in for a drink.  Helter Skelter Band from 6pm.

Look out for the story telling logo at all venues as some stories may be in picture form!
Our Lily Day storytellers will be in the Story tent next to the Scout Centre from 11am-5pm, so pop in and have a listen.
The White Hatter from Wonderland will be at the Library from 11am – or you might even find her in the Library garden,  taking you to amazing places through story
